Journey of Hope is seeking compassionate, mission-driven team members to support mothers-in-need through our Wrap-Around Services program and, ultimately, in our new Maternity Home. These roles play a vital part in empowering women with education, healthcare access, life skills, and community support as they build stable, hope-filled futures.

Marketing Intern

Part-Time, Unpaid

What You'll Do:​

  • Assist in developing and managing content across social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn. 

  • Support website updates and ensure content remains current and relevant. 

  • Assist in the creation and distribution of the organization's quarterly newsletter. 

  • Capture and share stories that showcase the mission and impact of Journey of Hope Home. 

  • Monitor engagement metrics and provide recommendations for improving outreach and visibility. 

  • Support special events, campaigns, and fundraising initiatives as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Current college student or recent graduate pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Nonprofit Management, or a related field (preferred) .

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Familiarity with major social media platforms and best practices. 

  • Basic knowledge of content creation tools such as Canva, Adobe, or similar platforms preferred. 

  • Experience with website content management systems is a plus. 

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 

  • Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently. 

  • Passion for supporting nonprofit organizations and community-focused initiatives.
