A community of support surrounds the young mothers at Journey of Hope.  We'd love to have you as part of the team.  Whether it's leading a Bible study, providing childcare, donating diapers, or contributing financially, each role is vitally important.   Explore our volunteer opportunities below and meet some of the special people who God has called to this important ministry.

Pregnant Woman on Couch

Hope Parents

Care for the daily needs of our clients; work directly with the women, coordinating and overseeing daily activities.

Making Pasta

Hope Mentors

Teach classes toward specific skill-sets that would be essential to parenting, including, but not limited to: crochet, music, resume writing, computer familiarity, tutoring for GED or general college courses, Bible studies, cooking, budgeting,  CPR training.

Maintenance Volunteers

Help care for our space, as needed, including: lawn maintenance, pulling weeds, picking up gumballs, cleaning gutters, changing air filters, etc.

Computers

I.T. Volunteers

Resolve technology issues in the home as they arise.  Computer, internet, cable trouble shooting. 

Hands On Steering Wheel

Van Drivers

Transport women to appointments, meetings, and interviews by obtaining a JO3 license and driving the church van.

Financial Supporters

Support Journey of Hope's mission by making a financial contribution.  All donations can be made via O'Fallon First United Methodist Church.  who is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.  All contributions are tax deductible.
